FMFCU FOUNDATION OFFERS NEW GRANT FOR COMMUNITY NONPROFITS

Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Foundation is now accepting Community Grant Applications for projects to strengthen nonprofits and enhance programs in our community.

 Organizations with a 501(c)(3) status are invited to apply for funding requests up to $1, 000 for a specific project or program needed to make the community a better place. Grants may be used toward the continuation of an existing program or a new initiative.

 Eligible organizations in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, or New Castle counties, West Philadelphia or University City are welcome to apply.

 “We are excited to offer our first ever community grant program to see what innovative projects we can support to make a difference in the community,” said Rick Durante, FMFCU Foundation Executive Director.

 FMFCU Foundation supports and recognizes education and charitable initiatives in communities served by Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union. Programs include the Excellence in Teaching Awards, which provides teachers and their schools $1,500, the John D. Unangst Memorial Scholarship which awards five high school seniors $3,000 each, Teacher Mini-Grants, manages Delco Hi-Q Academic Competition, and directly funds a number of other educational initiatives and awards.
