Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union partnered with 17 regional credit unions in raising $220,000 to purchase and donate 30,000 medical gowns for healthcare workers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
FMFCU individually purchased and is donating 5,000 of these gowns.
“It’s an honor to be part of such a special initiative,” said President and CEO Michael B. Magnavita, CPA. “Providing frontline responders with much-needed protective equipment is enormously important.” Magnavita also serves as FMFCU Foundation Board Treasurer.
FMFCU representatives are delivering gowns to the following organizations selected as recipients: CADES, Chester County Hospital, Collingdale Ambulance, Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Fair Acres Geriatric Center, Good Fellowship Ambulance, Holmes Fire Company, Mercy Catholic Medical Center – Mercy Fitzgerald and Mercy Philadelphia Campuses, Riddle Hospital, Saint Francis Hospital, and Tinicum Township Ambulance.
