FMFCU Foundation announces the opening of the application for the Teacher Mini Grant program. These grants will fund innovative educational experiences for K-12 students for up to $500. Teachers may request funds for classroom supplies, technology, books, or funding for classroom projects or programs that may not otherwise be funded in the 2022-2023 school year. The 2022-2023 Teacher Mini Grants are made possible by a grant from the Minford Foundation.
Past grant recipients include:
- Dan Meli at Interboro High School was able to purchase the board game Cashflow to provide students with the opportunity to expand their financial intelligence
- Stacy Ray at Cardinal Foley School was able to host a life cycle unit in science with a Chick Hatching Project
- Persia Ali at Overbrook High School was able to fund school supplies geared towards her special needs students.
