As the 2025-2026 school year approaches, FMFCU is proud to support students and educators. This year, we volunteered, we donated funds and we collected supplies to help ensure local kids and classrooms have what they need to succeed!
FMFCU employees and members donated supplies at all of our Delaware County branches. These much-needed items were then donated to the Delaware County Health Department, who organized an annual back-to-school event. Our FMFCU Care Crew volunteers joined forces with the Health Department to pack over 500 backpacks filled with essentials for students in need. This annual event is about more than just backpacks. It also offers free haircuts, dental exams, vaccines, and other vital services, helping families prepare their children for a successful school year in more ways than one.
FMFCU’s support extends beyond students to the amazing educators who shape their futures. FMFCU Care Crew also volunteered with Teachers’ Teammates, organizing supplies and packing orders for the new school year. Recognizing the crucial role of teachers in student success, FMFCU Foundation donated $1,000 to help Teachers’ Teammates prepare for the busy school year ahead.
