Why You Don’t Want to Miss This
All the fun you’ll have on the lanes will be making a big impact! Proceeds from the tournament will fuel the
FMFCU Foundation Scholarship Fund, benefiting scholarships like:
- John D. Unangst Memorial Scholarship: Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union’s first and long-tenured President/CEO John D. Unangst spearheaded a number of community and product initiatives. In 2001, FMFCU’s Board of Directors named its scholarship program in honor of John’s 25th anniversary with the Credit Union. Today, FMFCU Foundation continues the tradition by awarding scholarships.
- Bridge to Success Scholarship: Specifically designed for students within the Chester-Upland School District, this scholarship was created in 2023 to reflect FMFCU Foundation’s commitment to supporting educational opportunities and fostering the potential of students in underserved communities.
- Delco Hi-Q Scholarship: Delco Hi-Q is the oldest, continuous academic quiz competition in the United States. Each year, over 200 students from 21 high school in Delaware County participate in the program. The Delco Hi-Q scholarship awards one of these students with a scholarship to further their education.
- Delaware County Community College Scholarship: FMFCU Foundation partnered with Delaware County Community College for this annual scholarship that goes to two full-time students attending Delaware County Community College and is selected on a needs basis.
