Excellence in Teaching

The Delaware Valley Excellence in Teaching Awards, presented by FMFCU Foundation, is an esteemed program designed to recognize and honor outstanding educators in the Philadelphia region. Each year, 20 exceptional teachers are selected for their dedication, innovation, and impact on their students and school communities.

The Awards underscore FMFCU Foundation’s commitment to supporting and celebrating outstanding educators. By recognizing and rewarding the exceptional work of teachers, the foundation aims to enhance the quality of education and inspire a culture of excellence throughout the Philadelphia region.

Nomination

Nominations can be submitted by students, parents, co-workers or supervisors. Nominees must be Pennsylvania or Delaware-certified
active teachers in good standing that provide direct instruction to students in a classroom setting and teach in one of the following counties:
Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, New Castle, or Philadelphia.

 

A complete nomination must be submitted prior to the deadline. Nominations are only accepted through the official online submission form.
Each nomination will be reviewed by a panel of judges comprised of representatives from the field of education and FMFCU Foundation.
