Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Foundation is now accepting applications for the John D. Unangst Memorial Scholarship. Eligible high school seniors can apply for one of five (5) $3,000 awards at fmfcufoundation.org/awards.
The annual scholarship was established in honor of Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union’s first and longtime President/CEO John D. Unangst, who was passionate about education and instrumental in creating FMFCU Foundation. High school seniors planning to attend a full-time course of study at an accredited two- or four-year institution of higher learning are eligible.
All applications are reviewed and selected anonymously by a panel of educators. The deadline to submit an application is January 15, 2022. Detailed instructions and the application can be found at fmfcufoundation.org/awards.
Scholars will be honored at the Foundation’s annual celebration scheduled for Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Drexelbrook Special Events Center. In addition to the scholarship recipients, Excellence in Teaching awardees, Delco Hi-Q champions, grant recipients, and other honorees will be recognized.
