Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Employees Make a Difference During Care Crew Volunteering Week

The bi-annual Care Crew Volunteering Week is a testament to FMFCU’s commitment to social responsibility and community well-being. Through this week-long initiative, employees are actively contributing to multiple community service projects, making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

This spring, FMFCU employees headed out to five different organizations for volunteer activities.  At Easterseals in Delaware, employees cleaned inclusive playground equipment and made sure the play area was in top shape for kids of all abilities. Employees also went to Peter’s Place in Radnor to clean up the healing garden, pulling weeds, raking leaves and generally sprucing up the area. At Teachers’ Teammates in Folsom a large group of FMFCU employees arranged paints, organized the warehouse and packed orders for teachers in Delaware County. Delco Helping Hands hosted another group of employees to organize donated items such as clothes and pet supplies. Lastly at CRC Watersheds, trees were planted and outdoor areas were cleaned up by FMFCU volunteers.

FMFCU partners with these organizations among many others throughout the year on volunteer efforts, grants and charitable giving.
