Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Foundation is accepting applications for a new initiative that benefits teachers and students within its field of membership. Ten (10) one-time FMFCU Teacher Mini Grants will be awarded to K-12 teachers to help fund innovative student-oriented educational experiences that might not otherwise be funded. Qualifying needs include classroom supplies, technology, books, classroom projects, programs, and field trips.

Eligible schools must be located in Delaware, Chester, or Montgomery Counties, Pa., New Castle County, De., West Philadelphia, or University City. Requests must be for specific items or resources ranging in cost from $200 to $500 and needed to engage students and facilitate learning. Applications must show how FMFCU Foundation’s support will directly impact students, and awards must be used during the 2018-2019 school year.

An FMFCU Foundation selection committee will review applications and award grants based on perceived merit as indicated by the criteria outlined on the official submission form.
