Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2020 John D. Unangst Memorial Scholarship. Eligible high school seniors can apply for one of five (5) $3,000 awards at fmfcufoundation.org/awards.
The annual scholarship was established in honor of Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union’s first and longtime President/CEO John D. Unangst, who was passionate about education. High school seniors planning to attend a full-time course of study at an accredited two- or four-year institution of higher learning are eligible.
All applications are reviewed and selected anonymously by a panel of educators. The deadline to submit an application is January 15, 2020. Detailed instructions and the application can be found at fmfcufoundation.org/awards.
Eligibility requires attendance at the annual Partners in Education Celebration being held Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Drexelbrook Special Events Center. In addition to the scholarship recipients, Excellence in Teaching awardees, Delco Hi-Q champions, the Financial Literacy Advocate of the Year, and other honorees will be recognized.
