FMFCU Foundation hosted its Fourth Annual Golf Classic on the fairways at Radley Run Country Club on a gorgeous day in June.
With 50 sponsoring companies and individuals and over 100 golfers, FMFCU Foundation was able to raise significant funds for food insecurity, educational, scholarship and charitable programs. The event was presented by The Henderson Group, Philadelphia’s premier provider of flexible workplace solutions.
Immediately following the day on the course, golfers were invited to a dinner in which the Food Bank of Delaware, one of the beneficiaries of the event, was presented a check. Murphy’s Giving Market, another beneficiary, was also given a cash donation with the proceeds. Additional funds will be distributed to food banks, scholarships, and grants for the community.
FMFCU Foundation plans to continue this successful fundraising event in Summer 2023!
Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Foundation, a 501 (c)(3), supports charitable and educational causes within the communities served by Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union. Programs include Delco Hi-Q academic competition, food insecurity, Teacher and Community Mini-Grants, college scholarships, charitable giving, school field trips, and the annual FMFCU Foundation Celebration.
