Delco Hi-Q Scholarship Recipient

New this year, the Delco Hi-Q Scholarship recognizes one outstanding senior participating in the nation’s oldest continuous academic quiz competition. The $4,000 scholarship is awarded to a student who has demonstrated academic excellence and a passion for learning. The inaugural recipient is:

  • Ragini Mohan, Penncrest High School

“We are incredibly proud of this year’s scholarship recipients,” said Rick Durante, Executive Director of FMFCU Foundation. “Their dedication to their studies, leadership in their communities, and commitment to their futures inspire us all. We are thrilled to support their educational journeys.”

The scholarship recipients will be formally recognized at the FMFCU Foundation Celebration on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at The Drexelbrook in Drexel Hill. This special event brings together over 400 attendees, including community leaders, educators, students, and supporters, to honor those who make an extraordinary impact in our community. In addition to the scholarship awardees, the celebration will honor twenty outstanding teachers with the Delaware Valley Excellence in Teaching Award and recognize participants and winners from the 77th season of Delco Hi-Q, the nation’s oldest continuous academic quiz competition. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Tickets for the FMFCU Foundation Celebration can be purchased at fmfcufoundation.org/celebration
