The sun was shining for a beautiful, although very warm, day in June when Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Foundation hosted its Second Annual Golf Classic on the fairways at Radley Run Country Club outside of West Chester, PA.
With over 46 sponsoring companies and individuals and 120 golfers, FMFCU Foundation was able to raise significant funds for Delaware County Literacy Council, Local Food Banks, Education Grants & College Scholarships. The event was presented by The Henderson Group, Philadelphia’s premier provider of flexible workplace solutions.
“Our sponsors and supporters have really stepped up during the pandemic to raise funds that will make a big difference for thousands of recipients” said Rick Durante, FMFCU Foundation Executive Director. “We are excited to distribute these funds to some outstanding individuals and organizations.”
FMFCU Foundation plans to continue this successful fundraising event in Summer 2022!
Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Foundation, a 501 (c)(3), supports charitable and educational causes within the communities served by Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union. Each year, the Credit Union and its Foundation grants more than $250,000 to educational programs and charitable initiatives. Programs include Delco Hi-Q academic competition, Teacher and Community Mini-Grants, college scholarships, charitable giving, school field trips, and the annual Partners in Education Celebration.
