Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Foundation presented a $2,500 donation to Kennett Area Community Service on the occasion of the ribbon cutting of Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union’s newest branch in Kennett Square.
Kennett Area Community Service’s mission is “Connecting our Neighbors in need with Food, Shelter and a Path Forward.” Fighting food insecurity is one of the pillars of FMFCU Foundation, so the Southern Chester County organization is a perfect partner. KACS Food Cupboard is the largest food cupboard in Southern Chester County, feeding over 1,000 people every month.
